Parking was a little bit of a hassle

The river views from our room were spectacular, the bar/restaurant area was old English with lots of original features. The whole place was spotless and it was fantastic short break. The food was out of this world, Sunday lunch was unforgettable. A short ferry ride and you were in a vibrant area with independent shops, cafes and pubs.

The parking was tight, but what do you expect in a small Cornish village.

Very traditional village inn, warm and welcoming staff, beautiful room that overlooked the river. The food was as expected pub grub, very tasty and cooked perfectly.

Only one small criticism - I couldn’t reach the body wash from the bath as it was mounted in secure unit in the shower! Should have thought to bring my own.

Parking was a nightmare didn't realise the exact location, managed to find a space on the road.

extractor fan needs more ducting because smell of fried food quite strong
