The location. The staff. And the beer!

The bathroom was tricky. I wet shave and the sink was tiny. Walked into the edge of the shower once. Disappointed the bar closed on Sunday when we got back from long walk. Could have done with some warning to be better prepared given the ferry stopped at 7.30pm.

Lovely old Inn, room was great, clean, free toiletries. Views, stunning, the food was excellent

They did say there was a car park, but I approached it on a very steep hill, you need a good handbrake! I just parked at the top of hill. But I think they have a car park just to the left of the Inn

The views over Fowey were spectacular. We ate a delicious Sunday roast on the terrace. The cooked breakfast the next morning was delicious; all of the food was fresh, and the meat came from a local butcher. We were very impressed with our last-minute stay.
