Mango the Hotel

The location was just off the motorway and a quiet location.

On first impression the owners have tried to update the facilities but have fallen short. The mattress had lumps and was not very comfortable. The shower holder came off when trying to adjust the shower head height ,also the toilet flush was loose and had a cap. There was no hot water for showering. No breakfast facilities even a continental breakfast would be an option. The lady we spoke to in the morning was very friendly and helpful.

Food was excellent but room was full of flies & midges

The food was amazing. The room was tidy but vould do with a fan as it was really hot.

Location and restaurant

Very comfy beds. Immaculately clean. Really quiet. Large car park. Amazing food in the Italian / Indian restaurant at the property. Staff were brilliant. Superb value for money. Will defo stay again if I’m the area.

Bottom bed sheet came off within minutes. Too small. Fitted would be much better. Terrestrial TV channels didn’t work. No curtains, just wooden Venetian blinds. Got light as soon as the sun came up. Guests should ALWAYS have the option to close curtains to keep it dark until whatever time they want. Bright green led lights in both bedroom and bathroom. I prefer to sleep in pitch darkness. I was unable. I haven’t marked the place down because of these points, just putting it out there so both the property and potential customers know the score.
