Breakfast and dinner both nights very enjoyable

Not much. Room rather small and clothes on hangers not quite the same as a wardrobe.

Food was excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful.

TV only had 5 channels. Windows were poor.

There was nothing we didn't like. The hotel, the staff, absolutely faultless.

The location perfect for walking and hiking

There was no meet and greet, they treated us as if we were buying a drink and not staying with them for a few nights. Did not ask if we required any help with our luggage, we are pensioners. When we got to our room and I moved a pillow on the bed a big spider ran out, this caused us to check the room for other spiders, webs, we noted the room was very dusty in places, the carpet hadn’t been hoovered properly and there was black mould and dirt around the window. They didn’t have a closed in wardrobe or very little space to put clothes away. We did take photos to validate our concerns. We did not stay and asked for a refund. We found alternate accommodation and the next day we were charged for one night.

For the price I paid I was very pleasantly surprised, thought it was great value for money in a lovely setting.

Music in the bar and restaurant too loud in the evening. Having quiet in the morning for breakfast would have been preferable. Don’t need music all the time
