Sao Mai Hotel

Vu and his family gave us a very warm welcome! The tour was great, the food fantastic. Vu also helped us book the next bus. We had a great time in the mekong delta and would come back again.

Vu was a great host, he invited us with his own family to have lunch, he told us the main points of Cai Be to visit with the bicycle and he lend us some motorbikes. He was very warm and friendly. We requested to organize a boat tour through the Mekong which Vu organized and included also a smaller boat tour through the canals. The tour also included some small factories of different products in the local area.

If you want an authentic Mekong Delta experience, look no further! The lovely owner Vu and his family really go the extra mile to make your stay here worthwile. From the personal Mekong tour with Vu himself to the family dinners (both very reasonably priced) to the spontaneous visit to his father's fruit garden, everything was great. On top of this, the accommodation is also very comfortable and clean. Can only recommend staying at Sao Mai Hotel!

Vu is an amazing host. He welcomed us with open arms after being on the road all day. Vu's place is filled with great energy as he loves to welcome people into his hotel. We only stayed a night but thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Vu's family cooked us a lovely meal and we were greeted with a cold beer. I highly recommend staying here.

How to describe our experience with Vu and his family! It was absolutely AMAZING!!! Forget about any tours and go to Sao Mai to enjoy an unforgettable experience. We enjoyed our last 2 days in Vietnam with them, taking us to local places, we ate local food at their house, visit their fruit garden, Vu explained us so many things about the way they live, their traditions, their culture....we experienced Mekong in such a beautiful and real way....I can't be more grateful! I read it in the reviews and it is so true.....It is not a hotel, it is an experience. Thank you beautiful family and we will definitely see you next time we are in Vietnam.

We did not stay long enough

Everything was just fine. Vu is very friendly and helpful. We have not meet anyone more welcoming than him in entire Vietnam. We had really great time! I definitely recommend to everyone, especially the boat tour with Vu :)

In the second day we did not have hot water, but it was not a big problem for us
