Sao Mai Hotel

The property is located in a quite place but close to everywhere.

Mr Vu and his family (his mom and sister) are so warm and lovely people. The home cooked meals were yummy. Mr Vu arranged a river boat for a 5-6hrs cruise with various stops to a local market, fish farm, popcorn making. We took a smaller boat on a tributary.

Big room, super helpfull and friendly staff, great breakfast. Room was clean. Would recommend.

Fridge didnt work but its not a huge deal.

A decent family hotel in a good location with excellent people running the business. Not only did we get to stay in a beautiful place for a fair price, but the staff took their personal time to show us around the area. Recommended.

Spacious and clean rooms with air conditioner what you definitely need. Super nice staff and a hotel where you could easily relax a few days. Mekong Delta tours are nice but they tend to stop at shops or factories where they more or less force you to buy something or give tips. It was so uncomfortable that we didn’t enter the last shop. The tours through the Delta itself are nice and a must. Maybe you make it clear at the hotel that you come for the nature and culture and not to shop and avoid the experiences we made.

The hotel room and bathroom were clean, spacious, and well equipped. What really made the stay fabulous however, was the owner Vu and his family. Vu welcomed us like family and provided the most fun days and nights we’ve had in a long time. He provided a tour of his family’s fruit farm, showed us around town, and led us on a great tour. Having free bicycles to use was also very convenient. The breakfast was great and we were also able to eat a wonderful dinner prepared by his family each night. Easily one of our favorite stays we’ve had in our 10 months of travel. Don’t hesitate to stay here, you won’t regret it! Thanks for the best time, Vu!!

Mister Vu was so helpful right from the booking of the hotel to checking out. He showed us his village and gave us a great tour of the surrounding area. Everything was really great!! Thanks Vu!

Very warm welcome, nice rooms, delicious dinner, bikes for free, welll managed and fun boat ride.

The stay and hosts were both amazing! We went to Sao Mai hotel as a family trip to visit Cai Be, and were welcomed by super friendly people running the hotel. Vu and his sister were incredibly nice to us, planned the whole trip and tour, and provided many solutions to our needs. The hotel is super nice, and offers clean rooms, tasty food and great entertainment! 😁 Vu took us on a tour, and it was incredible! We witnessed the entire experience (boat trip, tastings, crafting, sightseeing...), and loved every second of it! We recommend this hotel 100%! Thank you so much for the lovely experience!!
