Phuong Mai Family Hotel

If the owner does not give you the room at the same hotel building but bring you to the next building where there's hair salon at the downstairs, immediately ask for refund and go somewhere else, he will give you the room not same as pictures he posed. That's what we experienced, the rooms on that building not worth for what we paid. It makes people feel like they are being cheated. We booked two rooms, both rooms are small and the one on the four floor, the toilet even locate outside the room, as the roof is leaking, when raining, it makes the floor infront of the toilet all wet.

Fabulous location with a stunning view over the sea. The owners and staff are simply wonderful. Breakfast is available and is very good. Laundry services are good and inexpensive and motorbike rental is available. The hotel has a massage service adjacent which is excellent, I had several and fully recommend. I even had my haircut there.

It's a one star hotel so don't expect 5 star luxury. There is no lift so there are quite a few stairs to climb if you want the rooms with the best views, however, its worth the effort

Good price for the location and lovely view from the room. We were out most of the days we were here, so just for sleeping the room was fine. The owner arranged a boat tour of the bay, which was actually very good.

A lot of noise from the road until late and from very early in the morning, so recommend earplugs are used if you're a light sleeper - the windows are very thin. Also the room was advertised as having a balcony, but actually the windows just open wide. There was no toilet spray in the bathroom. The inside window to the room door has a big plane of glass, which I don't really enjoy as you can see light coming through all night, and I'm not sure of how private this would be if someone really wanted to look through. The mattresses are old and poor quality.

we had laundry done here and they mixed ours with someone else’s. we had other peoples clothing and were missing some of ours.

Nice view on the sea

The room was not worth the price, the wash basin drains all the water on the floor and the toilet had no separate shower.

Great view in the Sea view bedrooms. If you stay on one of the top floors there is loads of stairs and no lift which isn’t great with heavy bags. Not the cleanest but it was comfortable. Really kind staff. Location is perfect.

Not very clean

Lovely family hotel! They are friendly, helpful when you need something or have questions and lovely. I would come again to this hotel!
