No hot water

The Staff at HSH are very nice, friendly and helpful. I felt comfortable and welcomed as soon as we arrived. We stayed in room 15 which was nice large room with a kitchenette. It has a private secluded porch with a excellent ocean view!! We would have given a better rating but not everything was great. We stayed for a week and only had hot water 1 day, don't care for cold showers. We didn't complain so I'm not sure what the problem was. The room has it looked like a brand new refrigerator but it didn't work, only the freezer worked. A Refrigerator and hot water is fairly major. The Kitchenette had a microwave, coffee maker and toaster and silverware, nothing else. we did get a couple plates from the manager. It was suppose to have a hot plate and didn't, luckily we brought our own Liddle Griddle. Despite the issues we had we are going back to stay at Home Sweet Home in February and we are hoping we have Hot Water and the Refrigerator is working. I will write another review when we get back in February...

The location

Didn't get the rooms that was paid for,wasn't ready for visitors due to refurbishing

I didn’t like the way the staff members treated me she asked me to leave her property because my payment was declined so we had to leave at 07:30 in the morning of 1.7.24 she wanted me to pay again and I told her no I won’t so she told me to leave which I did

The locations

The property needs a lot of maintenance and an uplift. It’s a beautiful hotel it just needs a lot of work. My fridge was not working the ceiling was crumbling asleep I slept and fell on me the bathroom was not clean and had others hair in it I had to sleep with ants in my bed and the reason I was told was because it was going to rain. The door had a huge opening at the bottom. They could do better, honestly.

Great location, great service and a wonderful place for people who expect peace and beautiful views in not overly luxurious conditions. I highly recommend this hotel.
