Great room. Unbeatable location at the corner of the main square but when we closed the windows the room was quiet. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They even arranged same day laundry. Excellent breakfast. We had a very good dinner at the hotel restaurant. I'd recommend it if only for the hugely charming waiter.

Nothing could have been better!

Many hotels advertise themselves as being boutique. Our experience has been that often means old and shabby. This hotel is different: although the structure itself is ancient, it has been thoroughly refurbished and modernised to a high standard of design and finishes. The rooms are quite large for this category of hotel, and very comfortable. Sheets and towels reflect quality. The staff are welcoming and helpful - every one of them. The restaurant has good food at reasonable prices. Included breakfasts are not extensive, but there is variety to suit most tastes.

We have a lot of electronics to charge: phones, computers/tablets, hearing aids. It's always a bit of a juggling act to find enough electrical outlets to supply them all. We bring along enough power splitters, etc. to make it work, but it was a bit of a challenge.
