Wayfinder Bishop

I love coming to this hotel but this time I was hurt shortly after arriving. They have glass on top of all their night stands and tv cabinets and I was picking up something and I hit the corner of the tv stand and the glass was broken on the edge and it hit my forehead and made a whole and it was bleeding. I did report it and the maintenance man came and put edge protector's on. The maids gave me bandaids which was helpful. I went to the front desk and asked for a first aid kit and the desk clerk said you can buy one over there. Didn't really seem to care about what happened. We then saw another maintenance guy and we asked if there was a clinic around and he said yes. We told him what happened and he said he could report it if we wanted. We said we would see how I felt. This is very dangerous. They need to put the protectors in every room. I am just glad it wasn't my eye.

Love this place. The creek that goes through the middle of the property is awesome.

A bit on the more expensive side BUT the free breakfast buffet makes up for it.

Excellent stay as always! I return often to Bishop and this is the only place I’ll stay!

Very pleasant stay at Wayfinder Bishop. Clean and comfortable rooms, a nice pool and sauna area, and a relaxed atmosphere after a long day of traveling. The staff was friendly and the location is convenient for exploring the Eastern Sierra. A great stopover between the national parks. Would happily stay here again.

Short two night and three day getaway to Bishop and Sierras. After decades of stays in Bishop, The Wayfinder is the most comfortable and nicest in the city. Location offers an easy walk to enjoyable restaurants or drive to surrounding sierras. Inviting lobby and wine bar; wonderful staff, and comfortable creek side setting.

Very nice and comfortable, enjoyed the balcony and the fresh air, curious and helpful staff. Breakfast was good. Will stay again!

The hotel is well located. The overall look is very attractive. The grounds are lovely. The hotel lobby is very good looking. . The room was very spacious and contained two very comfortable chairs. That is a big plus for us! The bed was a little firm and it could have used a new, better mattress topper to soften it a bit. The down comforter was quite heavy and would have been great in the winter,but the weather was very hot when we were there. The air conditioning kept the room cool enough after the first night but it was not doing a great job the first night because the room had gotten so hot. A summer weight comforter would have really helped! The bathroom was fine, having an additional sink outside of the bathroom was very nice. Overall, it is a nice hotel..especially for a very small town. This was our third stay at this hotel and we will return again.

Loved this place when it was Creekside, but Wayfinder has upped the game. So not what you'd expect in Bishop, but totally worth it if you want a little upscale experience. Best part, aside from the spacious rooms, is the creek running through. So peaceful and lovely to sit by at the fire pit. Staff was very accommodating, professional and friendly. Food was typical for a "free" breakfast. Highly recommend. Also located directly next door to Schatt's which is a must!

Wonderful experience. The property, amenities, and staff were all incredible! We wish we had stayed longer and will absolutely be back. The river walk and overall atmosphere were beautiful and relaxing.

Booked a creek side ground floor room and on arrival said they didn't have one for me. Manager didn't resolve the issue even the next day when these rooms became available. We did have a great view of the trailer/camper storage next door!
