Wayfinder Bishop

Rooms are a bit old. The AC does not cool properly. Its a bit too expensive for what it is.

Some of these reviews are astounding! We’ve been coming to Bishop for decades and have only found the old Creekside to be the most comfortable lodging and worth the price. We were finally able to book a room with the new Wayfinder and were very disappointed. It’s very dated and unpleasant. The refrigerator didn’t work but staff member Cheyenne was extremely pleasant and helpful. A large party of inebriated men disrupted our stay and the hotel management seemed unaware of the chaos. We cannot recommend this hotel, especially considering the $360 price for a single night’s stay. It’s a classic rip-off and a shame. Stay somewhere outside Bishop because this business community doesn’t care about excellence. We are sad about this circumstance but cannot condone the unfortunate decline of this long-time, nearly iconic facility.

Great location

We loved staying at this hotel while in town for a high school rodeo weekend. The accommodations were great! The bar was perfect for a drink and snack at the end of the day. I will definitely stay here again when back in town for the next rodeo weekend!

I stayed at Wayfarer Inn in Bishop for the past two days. The stay was overall good. The room was clean, and the location was convenient for getting around Bishop. The check-in process was simple, and the staff was friendly. The place is fairly nice, but it was perfect for a short stay. Overall, a decent option if you’re just looking for a simple place to sleep.

Great cozy spot in between Southern California and Northern California. Feels welcoming, great food and wine/beer selection in bar. Quiet rooms. Family friendly. Walkable to bars, restaurants, provisions. Cool sauna, pool and hot tub. Calm creekside spot! Next to Schat's Bakery!!

I had an excellent stay at the Wayfinder Bishop. I am a flight attendant and live in hotels. If I take time to write a review its because it is truely deserved. Everyone was very nice at the WayFinder, but Todd stood out. He was very friendly and helpful. He help me with my broken dish and offered my crew a ride to the airport as our scheduled transportation did not arrive. People like Todd makes all difference. Thank you Todd!

We always stop off at this hotel on our annual trip up to Mammoth! The grounds are beautiful, the staff is friendly and helpful, the bar area has great live entertainment on Friday nights, the beds are comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast is delicious, making this hotel worth the price. You will not be disappointed.

We choose to stay here for our 3 days of skiing in Mammoth. We usually stay in Mammoth. The drive in the morning to ski is a great way to wake up and well worth the savings in per night stay. Food is generally better and less expensive in Bishop than in Mammoth. The hottub is clean and not crowded for the apre ski day. The staff are very friendly and happy.

The staff is amazing. We had a U-Haul trailer and they helped accommodate parking for us. The hotel is so warm & cozy. My favorite place to stay in Bishop. And nothing like the Mountain View’s!!
