Hotel Villa Maria

A nice place to relax in the excessive Southern Italian heat. The hosts were friendly and most obliging of all my needs.

Everything was amazing. The staff, the service, the food, the location, etc. I cannot wait to return. Excellent espresso & cappuccino! Best on the island, actually. Also, best dinner we had on the island! Right here at this hotel. Great, healthy breakfast. Amazing walking opportunities. Up and down the mountain paths. Each walk was an adventure. Just incredible beauty all around you. Breathtaking views. A true hidden gem.

We feel so lucky to have found this gem, a perfect family run hotel with amazing views that you never tired of, fabulous food and friendly staff who couldn’t have done more to make our stay so memorable! Make sure you book in for dinner each night for fabulous traditional local food!

Nothing! It’s tricky to find first time but that’s all part of its charm.

Absolutely everything was fantastic. The location is great, with an amazing view over Sant'Angelo from the terrace. The owner and staff are genuinely nice people, which made our stay pleasant and comfortable. The hotel is clean and bright. I highly recommend having at least one, if not more, dinners at Villa Maria; the quality of the menu is excellent. In short, you can stay here without any hesitation. If we will visit Samt Angelo again we would stay here again.

Beautiful family run Villa / hotel. Located on a perch overlooking Sant’Angelo and so close to stroll into the town to shop, and eat. And not far to walk to nice beaches. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast on the patio overlooking the sea was so lovely - and they make a delicious cappuccino.

No WiFi signal in the room.

Villa Maria is the best place we have stayed in Italy for many years! A lovely family hotel, great food, amazing views and warm atmosphere. We felt very much like home and will definitely come back here again. All the best recommendations from us

We liked everything

Beautiful dining terrace for breakfast and dinner. Don’t miss dinner, it’s better than any of the restaurants you’ll find in town. Well situated to walk to town or to the beaches to the east. You’ll get your steps in!

The bed was a little too firm for us, but it wouldn’t stop us from returning for another stay.

I loved Villa Maria. If you are searching for a laid back and authentic experience - this is the place. We stayed with our toddler and the hotel is very family friendly. The terrace is a great way to start and finish your day after exploring Sant Angelo. The dinners are excellent value for money - food which is grown in their own garden and fresh seafood. I would highly recommend and stay again.

Organise a porter for your luggage before arriving at the accomodation. We unfortunately were not aware and it was difficult getting everything uphill.
