We initially chose Ayana Beach Hotel because of its proximity to the airport and planned to explore Colombo city during our stay. However, from the moment we arrived, the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere completely captured us, and we found ourselves happily spending most of our time at the hotel instead. We had a wonderful stay here. The hotel is located in a quiet area, away from Colombo’s busy streets, offering the perfect escape for anyone seeking comfort and tranquility. A special thanks to Khalil, who was extremely helpful, kind, and hardworking, meeting him was truly a pleasure. The rest of the staff were amazing too. The food was absolutely delicious; we never felt the need to dine anywhere else. All in all, Ayana Beach Hotel is the perfect choice for a peaceful and memorable stay near Colombo!

We really enjoyed our stay. The garden was very nice with a lot of beautiful flowers. The manager provided delicious food and was very kind.

The accommodation was very good - spacious and comfortable, with a patio overlooking nice garden. It was lovely to be in a quiet place on our last day. The staff were great - helpful, nice and genuine. Food was very nice too. We were so glad to find a such nice place to end our holiday. This place is not very far from Muthurajawela Marsh and Dutch Canal where you can book a 2 hr trip with a guide - good for watching birds and water monitors.

Was in middle of nowhere. So only food options was ordering through them. Also was a property that advertised able to pay by card but ended up being cash only. As the hotel was right on the beach. So thought I would be able to swim but this beach wasn’t safe at all with a shelf and rocks making it unsafe. Was also a witness to locals emptying rubbish onto the beach. I’m happy notes the staff were friendly and amazing and the room itself was spacious, clean and a newly decorateded bathroom.

The property is exactly same as showing in the picture. The staffs are also good. We enjoyed our stay there. If you want to stay in a clam and quite property then this can be a good choice. You can access the beach directly from the property.

If you want to stay there and want to do site-seen of Colombo city then this place is far from the city. Also getting a uber or pick-me tuktuk can be a challenge from this location.
