The very helpful welcome immediately made us feel very comfortable. The great hospitality, the exceptionally good food, the beautiful rooms, the nice garden and the beautiful beach all contributed to an unforgettable experience for us. Thanks to Khalil and the friendly team.

Lovely, helpful staff! The room was spotlessly clean with plenty of space. The garden area was beautiful and next to an empty beach - perfect for sunset strolls. They provided food, which was delicious, as most things are at least a tuk tuk away. Would recommend!

We didn’t get to stay at Ayana Beach since they overbooked. The employees were nice however, providing us with transport to an alternative hotel (which we requested). The location with sea view seemed to be nice, however the surrounding area does not provide a lot of options or infrastructure to discover in walking distance.

The Ayana Beach management unfortunately overbooked our room. While mistakes can and will happen, it was particularly unpleasant since we booked 5 days prior to our arrival and had multiple conversations with the management via booking.com and chatted even on the day of arrival, confirming check-in, potential late checkout etc.. The staff on site was very sorry, accommodating with drinks and not at fault at all, apparently this is a common occurrence though (they have a handwritten booking plan onsite while their management offsite is handling booking.com and other online sources -> mistakes are bound to happen). Apparently you should write to the WhatsApp number on google to 100% confirm your room.

Great place, service, ideal place if you are coming or leaving Sri Lanka.

The place is beautiful, it's a small property with 3 rooms which are all very spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. The staff is lovely and helpful.

It's rather hidden and far away from anything. You need a tuktuk or any other form of transport to get to the nearest village, which is 3km away. The properly is poorly managed.. when I arrived late at night, the staff was not expecting me and hence it took a while to check me in. The property accepts only cash payments, which is very inconvenient because international travellers struggle with getting large sums out of the atm. For me, this place was for a stay before heading to the airport, so I wanted to keep my cash withdrawals to a minimum. I couldn't have breakfast anymore, which I would have had if they accepted card payments. The owner doesn't care much, he was in the UK and left the guys on site dealing with all with no authority to make any decision. Internet was literally non-existent and kept dropping out. There were wooden sun lounges but no soft toppers or anything for them. As I couldn't order breakfast on site due to payment limitations, I had to buy things from the supermarket (where I could pay by card) and get cash out for the room payment. Overall I wouldn't stay again, as the payment methods severly limit what you can do (and the prices in the restaurant aren't cheap either)
