"Excellent countryside stay"

Excellent place for a weekend getaway. Lovely guest house in a quaint town. Large room with a great mix of classic design and comfort. Great food in the restaurant in the evening. Overall a marvellous stay in the Alsace countryside.

"Village hotel in a lovely 16th century wooden building."

Nice quiet location in a small village in the middle of Alsace nature close to Basel. Lots of free parking spaces. It was and dump outside, and we loved the cosy heating. The owner was helpful and dog friendly. We enjoyed the nice restaurant for the evening meal, food was delicious.

"Great rooms and very nice staff"

Rooms in the main building (upstairs from the restaurant) are very quiet and confortable. It looks like they have been completely renovated recently. Staff in the restaurant is absolutely adorable.

In the night of my visit it was hot and there were mosquitos coming into the room. After a few bites I managed to find how they get in: Between the door and the floor there is a tiny gap, but large enough for mosquitos . Luckily there was a spare blanket in the dressing which I used to block the mosquitos from entering the room.
