Torri E Merli Boutique Hotel

Magical old Venetian olive factory in a calm location surrounded by olive trees! The hotel room, grounds, poolside and restaurant are remarkable. What made this hotel stand out was the staff- thank you taking the extra step to ensure we had a great stay! Couldn’t recommend this enough!

Really poor bar. or Not proportionate to the hotel's overall sentiment. Although the Staff was ultra polite, unfortunately, they had a small variety of liquors and or spirits.

I especially liked the silence, the intimacy and the small number of rooms, the personal attitude of the staff, the help and advice for every matter and issue and the convenient location to anywhere in the vicinity. Highly recommend, I will go back there again

Stylish. Understated luxury. Quiet. Great staff. Efficient service. Comfortable beds.

The restaurant and bar being closed without any notification. No bedside lamps. No bedside electrical sockets. One bathroom had severe problems with water overflow in bathroom and needed to use towels to mop up. Very poor for a luxury hotel. One bathroom shower head wa to low to stand under.

This place is magical. An ancient building with modern facilities in a beautiful garden.

I am 68 and found the bed hard

The hotel is perfect. From the moment you arrive you feel that you are taken cared of. Denis is super knowledgeable of the local area, the best beaches, bars, and restaurants - and even what to order. Nothing was ever too much to ask. George serves a fabulous breakfast, where you can almost have whatever you'd like. The omelette is delicious, and the fruit salad alone with Greek yoghurt is a must. He is more than happy to help, and make sure you start the day off in the best way. Joanna is warm and friendly, and went out of her way to make sure we had the best time on Paxos that we could. She arranged our scooter to be at the hotel for when we arrived, and also gave us great tips for our onwards journey to Athens, even giving us her number in case we needed more help when we got there. The hotel is a very special place. It's totally relaxing, well kept, and tranquil. The pool is a small haven amongst the beautiful gardens, and the room was well thought out, and a great base for us to explore the island. We already cannot wait to return, and have honestly never felt so sad to leave such a welcoming and uniquely warm place to stay.

I had a fantastic time at Torri E Merli. The staff are very friendly. Very relaxing, excellent pool, luxury rooms, great breakfast. If you are looking for something special to spend quality time in Paxos I would highly recommend.

This hotel was a very disappointing experience and did not match the ‘5 star rating.’ The room was run down and dirty in parts; the bed was super hard and the ‘curtains’ were pieces of material attached by hooks to the corners of windows. Breakfast was shambolic, involving completing a list the night before and then the servings were meagre, including mould on the bread. The pool side was tired and the facilities mixed eg towels not always available. The staff wanted to be helpful but struggled to resolve issues. Sadly the images/website did not reflect the reality. A pity since the location and site has a lot of potential and everyone had good intentions but the hotel was just not up to the standard as represented.
