Torri E Merli Boutique Hotel

Amazing views and a really peaceful place to lie by the pool, felt like we were out in the countryside. At the same time it was only a 15 minute walk from the centre (although the walk back is uphill!) We tried the half board menu on one of the evenings and it was really nicely cooked and very tasty. We also enjoyed the breakfasts each day, particularly the traditional greek pies (if they could do something new each day that would be even better). The room was really nicely done out inside and had a very luxurious feel. The whole place is very impressive as it has a real sense of history.

Great location quiet away from the crowds. In the day light Easy walk to the little town about 20 mins that had super cute restaurants. We walked down to the town and onto the little beach and put ourselves on a lounger all day for 5 Euros. The dinners were included as part of the half board. They were good quality and nicely presented. The room was very comfy, bed excellent and aircon a treat. Each room is very private with a sitting area perfect for drinking wine.

I would have liked a bit more variety on what was on the dinner menu as it became a bit repetitive by the third night as the courses were similar in style and texture. Saying that they were nice, and always well presented.

The beauty of the fascinating historic building that has incorporated the best of modern style. But above all, the staff - friendly, professional, always there when needed, yet never intrusive. Lovely pool, pretty gardens- breakfast tables set out between trees.

I liked it all! trying to think of something not to like… unsuccessful.

really nice staff in an exceptional environment. close to the town of Laxxa but with walking access to local beaches and the local bus. Any walk is easy and enjoyable

Breakfast and dinner staff

Run down and, broken blinds, bath taps, dirty. Couldn't turn badly installed under bed lighting for 30 mins!

Beautiful and quiet, a unique setting amid olive trees. Some delightful architectural touches as part of the restoration of an old, historic building. Clean, comfortable room with Prosecco on ice on arrival, indoor lounge area, safe and fridge. Room opened out onto private terrace with seating, overlooking the characterful lay-out of the hotel’s outdoor space. Welcome drinks served on arrival in the charming outdoor dining area, where tables are dotted among the trees for added intimacy. Delightful staff, always on hand to help. all meals served to table, chosen from a daily menu - no queuing at a buffet. We chose half-board, breakfast and dinner (four courses: soup of the day, salad, choice of two mains, dessert). Beautiful infinity pool, with comfortable sunloungers. We met some other lovely guests, but never felt crowded - this is a small, unique, boutique hotel. Local buses do stop if you hail them. Car hire arranged for us by the hotel - probably the easiest way to explore the island.

The whole hotel inspires relaxation - a renovated mansion, only 9 rooms, a beautiful garden and a lovely pool. The staff are exceptional.
