No cleaning, abandoned, very bad service

The staff did their best but extremely badly run

The rooms were very dirty. Had to change rooms to find a slightly cleaner one. Blinds on doors and windows were canvas sheets that offered privacy when totally closed. So the whole stay was in doors with everything closed like rats. Very short staffed and unorganised. Had to wait over an hour past I checkin time for our room to be ready and it was still very dirty to the point the staff agreed to change our room. Slightly better but not much

The delicious freshly prepared breakfast with lots of choice in a beautiful and relaxed environment. The rooms were spacious and immaculate. The pretty pool area was very tranquil.

There was nothing we didn’t like. A few tiny tweaks would enhance the experience but the team are working on these all the time. This is a charming and characterful property cared for with pride by wonderful people, who look equally after their guests. We had an extremely enjoyable stay thanks to those efforts.

The building was unique and the rooms were very chic. The staff were incredibly helpful and made our stay all the better.

My room was not as good as the others. It was stuck behind a garage / store room. Felt out of the way. No curtains. Everything else was good but my room was poor.

Sadly a little neglected, gardens not so cared for & many windows need replacing. We specifically asked for a private veranda but we didn’t have any outside space in fact we had a large Master Suite on the top floor. We would have much preferred a smaller room with an outside seating area. Very disappointed altho they were very apologetic. George at breakfast was great, worked very hard n was very friendly.
