Clean and friendly

Small bed for two people, but was comfortable

Part of a coach party doing the North Coast 500, out of 44 people on the coach the hotel could only accommodate 16 the rest had to stay in 2 other hotels, this was at short notice. Our room was round the back of the hotel in the carpark. The food was the worst we have ever had. The first night I had chicken which consisted of 4 bite sized pieces, the other choice was Pollock which was half raw. Desert was cold chocolate fudge cake with ice cream or Eton with no meringue, just whipped cream with a tiny bit of fruit. Second night main meal was 2 pork and apple meatballs with orzo the whole dish was cold when it arrived and the fish dish was Coley and was so overcooked it was inedible and it was cold we had burnt potato wedges to go with it. Scottish cooked breakfast consisted of 1 cold sausage, 1 cold piece of bacon, 1 egg either fried, poached or scrambled and half a tomato. Would not recommend this hotel.
