Hotel Brigitte

Hotel Brigitte is very well located to bars, restaurants and ski lifts however it is also in a very quiet position. We stayed for a week on half board. The dinners were fantastic and more than we could eat. Also there was great variety every evening. Breakfast was also more than enough before a days skiing. We had a suite which gave us plenty of room for all our stuff and it was spotlessly clean. in fact the whole hotel is super clean. The pool, spa and gym are all very good for a hotel this size and we used this facility every afternoon.

The property was well presented, clean and well Situated.

Location, facilities and style.

We thought the service was lacking in the restaurant . Breakfast could have been better in variety and also small plates for serving . Room was a suite with kitchen - very nice but you could not block out the light from the sky window. Spa and wellness was nice and pool was good. For such great things in the hotel it was lacking service. Food was ok!

We spent a really delightful week at the hotel Bridgett, the facilities are excellent, sauna, spa, pool. Our room was clean and always well serviced. The staff are all very professional and friendly, we all agreed one of our best skiing hotels we have stayed in .. and we have been skiing a good few years. The food is top notch… well cooked, excellent variety and well presented. In all we highly recommend.

Myself and two of my adult sons have just had a week's skiing in Ischgl, staying at the Hotel Brigitte. I have stayed in a lot of ski resort hotels over the years but this was definitely one of the best. A four star hotel with a relaxed atmosphere and incredibly friendly and helpful staff. A great spacious room which they kept spotless despite our mess. The food was fantastic with amazing choice - the wonderful breakfasts really set you up for the day! The main lounge/ bar area was very comfortable and there was a second lounge which was quite, where one could work or play pool! The only small issue was that the ski lockers didn't seem to be heated overnight but maybe they were and our stuff was just very wet! Being able to ski from, and back to, the hotel was a real bonus. A huge thank-you to the staff of the Hotel Brigitte for a fantastic week in Ischgl, despite the awful weather...

Friendly very professional staff.

Receptionist could have been more helpful upon arrival. For example we weren't informed that we could buy ski passes at the hotel and we weren't given guest cards until we asked for them. Choice of cooked breakfast was limited. Sometimes the parties of all male guests in the hotel and in the village were too load and borish.

Hotel Brigitte feels like two hotels in one. Almost all parts of this hotel feel new and modern whilst some parts feel rather out dated. Things started wrong from the beginning. Be careful you get the room you pay for!!! We were part of a large group, we all paid the same, but I ended up in what felt like the broom cupboard. Room 41. The hotel confirmed we were in the smallest cheapest room in the hotel. During the week this kind of became an obsession browsing in any room that had an open door being cleaned. I can confirm everyone else in the group enjoyed large modern spacious rooms, not like my 80's throw back broom cupboard. I guess this complaint will continue when we get home. Breakfast Absolutely first class, lots of choice, very consistent with an extensive choice of food. Staff are excellent and very quick serving coffee. Dinner The self serve salad and appetizers are plentiful and delicious. You can allow yourself to eat good portions here as the actual served starters and main courses are very small. As part of a large group where we all ate together, the main courses were very inconsistent. One evening I literally had 2 carrot slices, yes literally 2 slices not even 2 full carrots. Everyone else had carrots, broccoli, sweet potatos and asparagus. I did complain but the waiter thought I was joking. As someone who's battling a serious health issue vegetables are a staple part of my diet. Is this a water tax? Another odd thing at this hotel (maybe other hotels) is they charge €2.50 per litre for tap water. The waiter did not tell us in advance of this charge and thus didn't bill us on the first night. However if you buy any alcohol they will not charge you. Very odd especially given I can't really drink alcohol due to a serious healthy issues which I'm still battling. Ski storage was very secure with heating for your boots, a nice touch. Another tax, 3€ per night tourist tax payable when you check out. All in all would I return to this hotel, no. It was not worth the premium we paid, especially given I spent the week in the smallest room in the hotel which felt like the 80's with zero sign of modernization.
