Hotel Brigitte

Highly recommended. We really enjoyed our time here; fabulous welcoming staff across the entire hotel, great breakfast, and a good location. Lovely spa and pool area. In short, there is nothing not to like!

We have just returned from spending Christmas at the Brigitte and can't praise the hotel highly enough! The staff, without exception, were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble, everyone was attentive, polite and made you feel so welcome. The food was fantastic and plentiful. Everything was so fresh and presentation was excellent. The afternoon snacks hit the spot after a long day on the slopes! The rooms and all public areas were kept spotlessly clean. The bar area was modern but also comfortable and welcoming, with a mixture of high tables and comfy sofas. The bar staff were fantastic, always remembering our drinks and providing nuts. We didn't use the wellness area so can't comment on that but did use the gym and pool area. The gym wasn't massive but had all the equipment needed for a workout if you choose not to ski. The pool area was quiet and a lovely place to relax and sooth the sore muscles. Lift passes can be ordered at reception. The hotel is a 5 min walk (max) to the tunnel taking you to the Fimba lift area and town centre. We travelled independently and unfortunately on our first night we had to call the paramedics which resulted in my husband spending the first night in hospital. The staff were fantastic helping us whilst calling the paramedics and relating the information they required. Also, whilst returning to the hotel at 3 am Luigi was there which was a huge relief for me, thank you Luigi. We would not hesitate to recommend The Brigitte and will definitely be returning. Thanks once again to everyone.

As stated in my last review we were very keen to return to this hotel, but due to Covid it was to be a two year gap. We once again booked via Inghams and this time upgraded to a room with balcony. The room we had was excellent with good views from our windows and the balcony. We were given a warm welcome by the receptionist on arrival and throughout our stay all the reception staff were very kind and helpful. It was also great to see Joki working behind the bar again. His work ethic and kind attention never waned. This however was not the case for the restaurant wait staff! On one particular night we were overlooked with guests arriving after us being served first. We became so frustrated and annoyed with the wait between courses, we decided to walk out before our main course was served. We made our feelings felt at reception and another couple also complained of the poor service they too had received. Service on subsequent nights was significantly improved but we were disinclined to engage with our waiter and our time in the restaurant became less pleasurable. We mostly enjoyed the hotel once more but wonder if Mrs Mangold has been present overseeing operations throughout our stay there would have been no slip in service standards. She did return on our last day and it was a pleasure to meet her again.

With our son working another winter, but in Ischgl this time, we were keen to see him mid-season. He was in the Abendrot chalet hotel so the closest to it we could find with his company Inghams, was the Brigitte hotel. We arrived in Ischgl late in the night but our coach could not reach the hotel so they kindly arranged for a hotel car to collect us. We were warmly greeted by Thomas who drove us the short journey. He then checked us in and happily took our luggage up to our 4th floor room. Our late arrival meant we had missed our evening dinner so I asked if there was any chance of a light cold snack. Without hesitation Thomas said he would see what he could do and personally prepared a cold meat/cheese and assorted bread platter. After a long day travelling from the UK, Thomas had given us the perfect start to our holiday. The hotel itself was a delight. The modern décor and furnishings looked fresh and both the lounge area, with its fire, and the bar were really inviting. The restaurant also had a nice ambience and all the wait staff were very attentive. The quality of the food was also excellent and presented with much attention to detail. We had a six course Gala dinner after our first full day which was amazing; preceded by a complimentary glass of Prosecco in the bar passed out by the Hotel owner Mrs Mangold. Her inviting nature and friendliness of all the staff we encountered made our stay at this hotel a real pleasure. Special mention needs to go to Joki the bartender. He was simply outstanding. All the staff we spoke with could speak excellent English and were always engaging. They seemed to really enjoy working in this hotel. Even when they were off duty some of them danced amongst the guests on the night there was live music with Mrs Mangold joining in too. The live singing and dancing went long into the night and was thoroughly enjoyable. Not only were the staff friendly but accommodating too. We asked if our son could dine with us one evening but it would mean moving to a larger table and the hotel was full. Not a problem for the head waiter and the change made with no fuss whatsoever. We have been to many ski resort hotels over the last 36 years and the Brigitte was the best. We could not recommend this hotel more highly and will certainly return.

Our ski club group of 48 people recently spent a beautiful and special week at this lovely hotel. To a person, we were pleased with every aspect of our stay. The service provided by each and every member of the staff was exceptional, and we would like to thank Thomas, Nadine, Joki, Simone and well, absolutely everyone, for all that they did to make our stay so wonderful. The hospitality of the Mangold family comes through in the attention to detail on every level, and we so enjoyed meeting them and working with them during our stay. They are such a fine family.. We were delighted with the delicious food on offer at breakfast, during afternoon snack hours and at dinner. The quality, preparation and presentation rivaled that of top restaurants in any world capital! Absolute kudos are in order to the chefs who provide Hotel Brigitte guests with such culinary treats. The ski room was the nicest we have encountered anywhere, and the spa facilities were such a treat for tired bodies at the end of a ski day. Many of us enjoyed massage treatments by Gabi and Vivi during the week, and they did an exceptional job for us. We all loved the bar, and the bartenders treated us so well. It was such fun having an evening of live music for entertainment and dancing during the week, too. Without hesitation, we can recommend this hotel to anyone looking to enjoy a delightful and comfortable ski holiday in the finest of surroundings. The hotel and the staff were awesome. Anything you wanted or anything you needed was not a problem and always addressed immediately. Rooms were clean and well taken care of. Location was pretty central in town. Nothing else to say or needed, it was a great stay.

We just completed a week at Hotel Brigitte - it was great. The location is ski in and a short walk to a town elevator and moving sidewalk to reach two of the main lifts up the mountain. The food (half board) was excellent. The selection at breakfast had anything you could want, including cook to order eggs, smoked salmon, multiple types of juice, bread, fruit, etc. For after ski there was a daily reception including a cake, soup and hot dish - all before your dinner 3 hours later. Dinners were 4-5 courses and all were well prepared and presented, tasty and more than one would often get after a day of skiing. Further the facilities are top notch. The ski room is 3 years new and by far the best ski room we have experienced - individual lockers assigned by room and keyed as such with room for 4 sets of skis, boots and helmets. Plenty of space to boot up, etc. If that wasn't enough and you needed more there is a great pool and workout room plus sauna and massage rooms. Ischgl is known as a party town - but Brigitte is far enough above the town to avoid the hassle and grind of the party atmosphere - although you can get to that within 5 minutes if you wish.
