The Jayakarta Bali Beach Resort

The staff are beautiful, the pool and gardens are gorgeous. Location is great.

Bathrooms are very run down. The hotel could be beautiful and much more comfortable if maintenance of bathrooms were upkept. New bathrooms are definitely needed. Pillows were flat and also uncomfortable. Lots of mozzies and would. Food is very average too unfortunately.

The staff, the pool and location

Fabulous, very large resort in the perfect location. Beautifully manicured grounds with 3 pools to choose from and just across the road from the beach. Friends had the executive suite opp back pool, if you can afford it, it’s worth the money.

One bedroom apartment located as far away as possible from reception and pools and directly opposite Fat Buddha across the road, very loud at night. Apt very old and dated. Shower over bath very slippery and sprays straight ahead to wet the towels hanging on towel rail.

Some staff quite unhelpful. Air con very loud and didnt seem to work well. Bathroom sink took forever for water to drain out. Room had been cleaned, but once there was only 1 towel there. Not enough teabags left, just lots of things like that were not good. HATE the way the sunlounges are all taken up with towels from early in the morning, but no one is on them until hours later. That shouldnt be allowed. Happened every day we were there. Very slippery tiles near pool.

Absolutely perfect stay! We stayed for 2 weeks and couldn't fault the Jayakarta at all! Everything you need is on-site (pools, bars, restaurants, gym, massages, shop, tours), the rooms and facilities are spotlessly clean and the location by the beach and town is perfect. Our highlight though was the staff! They got to know us and made us feel very welcome, and nothing was too much for them (even making our special occasions very special - thank you Moris!), they're a credit to the hotel! Special shout out to Budi for his brilliant tours, we had multiple amazing days with him! Couldn't recommend this hotel more and hopefully one day we will be back! Thank you!
