Overall good value for money. The room was big and clean and the staff was really friendly. Location in the old centre of Stone Town.

The windows are not tight, so you listen to everything that goes on in the street. Ear plugs recommended ;)

Room was big and clean. In the center.

The room is very noisy. You can hear every sound of the street, so it feels like the windows are open. The guy at the reception is extremely slow. We wanted the Wi-Fi and it took him 45 minutes to install this on our phone. The room smelled like mold. We cancelled the rest of our nights because Stone Town is not a touristic spot, and therefore not for us. We could only pay in cash for the first night without a receipt. After asking for a receipt, we received it, but paying in cash without a receipt felt very sketchy, so please pay attention to this.
