You can not drive a car in front of the hotel, since it is in a small alley. They help you with luggage though. Good location, once you find the hotel.

We had an early flight, so I contacted the property before staying there and asked for breakfast boxes to take away. They said no problem, they would prepare boxes for us. I also talked to the receptionist the night before and he wrote down the breakfast we ordered. The next morning nothing was prepared and we didn’t get any breakfast boxes. I contacted the property afterwards and they were sorry for the inconvenience, and promised me a partial refund. Haven’t received any refunds.

Friendly welcome from Hussain who was very helpful. Charming character of the building. Good location. There was a restaurant across the road that was quite busy but that didn’t disturb us.

Great aircon. Hot water. Clean. Quiet. Attentive and helpful staff. And great location. The restaurant across the street is really good. Would love to stay here again!

Very limited amenities in the room eg. Face tissues not available Storage Space in the room was non existent Glasses / Cups / Spoons in the room were missing Chairs to sit on anywhere not available No generator in case of a power cut - water also gets cut off and this happened during our stay

The breakfast was lovely, nice variety! Central location was convenient.

The air conditioning unit in the first room we were offered was non-functional so we were offered a second room. Thank you to the staff for that!

Very very noisy from the street.

A bit out of Stonetown, closer to Darajani Market. Recent change of hotel name so taxi drivers didn’t know where it was.

The rooms were cramped as was the bathroom. Wouldn’t stay here again.

The location was good. You could reach the beach and stores on foot. Breakfast was also ok. Okay for a short stay

The journey was terrible! We ordered a taxi for pick up in advance from the hotel to the airport. We waited 45 minutes for this driver at the airport who never showed up. Afterwards the hotel told us that the driver was unable to come - we were not given any information about this. When we arrived at the hotel with the other taxi we ordered at the airport (at 11 pm), the hotel was completely closed and we couldn't get in. However, the hotel knew from our taxi order that we would be arriving late. So we (two young backpackers) were standing on the street and nobody were there to open the door. After 15 minutes of loud shouting and knocking, someone came who was totally unfriendly because we had woken him up. It was also very stuffy in the room as you couldn't open any windows. Okay for 2 nights but otherwise never again. Sorry..
