The Pleasure Kosgoda

Das Pleasure Kosgoda ist ein echter Wohlfühlort um zu entspannen und entschleunigen. Unsere Deluxe Suite 01 im 2. Stock war groß, sehr gepflegt, modern und bot einen fantastischen Blick auf das Meer. Der lange Balkon über Eck und das schöne Badezimmer mit Ausblick auf den Strand und das offene Meer sind ein echtes Highlight - fantastische Sonnenuntergänge inklusive. AC und Deckenventilator hielten das Zimmer bei Bedarf jederzeit angenehm kühl. Der Manager und das gesamte Team sind super herzlich und stets zuvorkommend. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und man hat über den gesamten Tag eine abwechslungsreiche Auswahl mit gutem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, sodass jeder Geschmack etwas findet. Auch beim Organisieren eines Flughafentransfer an einem Feiertag wurden wir bestens unterstützt. Es gibt einen schönen, gepflegten Außenbereich mit ausreichend Liegemöglichkeiten direkt vor dem Strand (Sunbeds, Hängematten, Schaukeln) um den Tag und die Sonnenuntergänge zu genießen. Für die Hauptsaison ab Dezember wird ebenfalls eine Strandbar und ein zusätzlicher Restaurant-Bereich geschaffen, was das Paket sicherlich abrunden wird. Anfang November konnten wir als gute Schwimmer problemlos im Meer baden und die Wellen an den Sandbänken genießen (Wellen und Strömungen sind auf Sri Lanka grundsätzlich zu beachten). In der Hauptsaison ab Dezember soll sich das Meer an der Süd(-West)-Küste weiter beruhigen. Ansonsten bietet der Pool eine alternative Abkühlung mit tollem Ausblick. Das absolute Highlight war jedoch der organisierte Besuch einer Brut- und Rettungsstation für Schildkröten sowie das Freilassen von Baby-Schildkröten am Strand nach Sonnenuntergang Alles in allem ein traumhafter Abschluss unseres Sri Lanka Urlaubs.

Das Wi-Fi im 2. Stock könnte stabiler sein. Es ist zu beachten, dass das Hotel in einem kleinen Dorf liegt. Es gibt keine große Auswahl an Bars und Restaurants in der Umgebung.

Dejlig udsigt. Utrolig sødt personale. Den ene aften, hvor vi kom sent hjem, havde de skaffet 4 baby skildpadder vi fik lov til udsætte. Vi var i øvrigt de eneste overnattende på hotellet de 2 dage vi boede der.

Morgenmaden var okay, men vi har fået bedre på Sri Lanka.

Wonderful last few days in Sri Lanka. Hotel is in a great location, just 1.5 hours from airport and 1 hour from Galle. Owner is a wonderful host and went out of his way to make our stay perfect.

This was a truly excellent final few days of our trip. Pujita and the team were exceptionally friendly, helpful and accommodating. The food from the little restaurant was excellent. It's just a small 6 bedroom villa and has an intimate and personal feel. The location is great and the beaches were very quiet. Dumido was great at "front of house" and made sure we had everything we needed. Very highly recommended.

the staff at the Pleasure are very friendly and they will help in anything you ask. they will try to make the stay memorable within their capability. simple life there with relaxing vibe. I loved the place. they make you feel home and the view in the morning from the room is unique.

they do cleaning on demand in the room every two days. which I think should be done daily.

After 2 weeks of travelling around Sri Lanka, staying in homestays and cheap digs, we booked The Pleasure for our last 4 nights of our trip. I really wanted a bit of luxury and time on the beach. The Pleasure did not disappoint and in fact it exceeded our expectations. We loved the room, the beach is literally on the doorstep and the team who work there are fabulous. We loved the wee bar too, pumping out reggae tunes run by a cool rasta guy 😀

Really can't complain. It was total paradise.
