The Pleasure Kosgoda

Amazing location right on the beach. Lots of outdoor seating and hammocks and swings to soak up the view! Sea was powerful but nice to swim in if you were careful and are a confident swimmer. There are strong waves and currents too. The food was delicious- seafood so fresh. The staff warm and welcoming, very friendly. Bed very large and comfortable and shower powerful once we got the hang of it! The owner even took us to a nearby turtle sanctuary where we learnt about the turtles and saw various ages. We were able to release some into the ocean near the hotel!

As soon as we arrived we felt really welcome. The hotel was in a wonderful location on a quiet beach. Hotel was also quiet, atmospheric and tidy. Hotel staff and the owner were really kind and helpful, they also speak really good english which made managing things easy. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel and all food was fresh and tasty. We highly recommend a visit there!

This place his a true gem, to the extent we stayed longer than originally planned. The owner is a true gentleman who does his utmost to ensure you have a great stay. We loved everything at this place; the room, the restaurant, every member of staff we met were so pleasant and really kind to our little boy. The proximity to the beach and the view from the balcony was just the best, a real slice of paradise and I wouldn't hesitate to return here, true 10/10.

Absolutely fantantastic stay at Kosgoda. Room was really big, bathroom also. Location was amazing, just in front of beach, and beach was not busy at all even thou there was this big hotel next to. Staf was very nice and made everything that our stay was perfect. There is two turttle hatchery near by.

This place is like a little slice of paradise. Quiet, private, excellent service, excellent food. Beach is amazing and easily accessed from the private yard. Sea is rough but warm. Rooms were big and clean, and there is no way to have a better view. One day we even spotted a turtle laying eggs in front of the hotel 😀 Food was really good, the sauces were tasty. We even had lobster one night, one of the best dishes I have ever eaten. I want to give special thanks to Thusbar (sorry of I write name incorrectly) and the staff for always taking care of our needs with a smile. In case you want to indulge yourself with massage, there is a great place nearby. You ask from the manager who is always also there to help. All in all, we could have not asked a better start for our holiday.

Fabulous large clean room and bathroom with superb balcony overlooking the beautiful Kosgoda beach. The owner and staff were exceptional, nothing was too much trouble. Comfy sun loungers and swing chairs to sunbathe or watch the sunset. Nice small pool to cool off in. Cosy restaurant and bar in the garden. A++

That we only had 4 nights - could have stayed much longer.

After 10 pm I tried to find somebody to get water. Nobody at the reception. All closed.

Everything was really great: Accommodation: big rooms and balconies located near the ocean, always clean territory (even after hard rains), really private place Staff: helpful and friendly, smiling and trying to anticipate your needs. Our special thanks to the Owner who helped us personally Food: tasty and fast cooking Ocean: quite rough at Kosgoda, but we’ve successfully managed to swim enough right in front of the hotel

-Nice Hotel at the beach

- Hotel is very off the road and you always need tuktuks to get anywhere - we had some stains on our bed sheets and pillows when we arrived - when you leave the hotel to walk on the beach you are constantly approached by locals who try to sell you stuff and are very intrusive and follow you around which makes you feel rather uncomfortable (not the Hotels fault, but something you should know before booking)
