The Pleasure Kosgoda

We enjoyed our stay at Pleasure Kosgoda hotel very much. Everything was perfect and relaxing. Very quiet and private place with very-very-very marvelous beach. 10 out of 10 for sure. What could be improved: wifi, the Internet works for “so-so” mark even when your devices show full connection

We couldn’t have stayed in a better place to bring our wonderful holiday in Sri Lanka to a close. Very large comfortable rooms overlooking the ocean. Great food, great service, stunning location with so many excellent restaurants within a 15 minute tuk tuk ride. Thank you so much to Thushan and all the team, absolutely nothing was too much trouble.

Leaving it to come home!

Small hotel for 3 rooms and 3 more under construction now. Territory mostly private with small pass during tides. The hotel has its own parking behind gates, beach is sandy and clean. Breakfast is great, can be adjusted to your needs. Owner and hotel manager are amazing guys.

There is no good internet connection, airco is old and has little settings - like no night mode.

Greeted personally by the manager who took us in hand to ensure we found our room & were aware of all facilities - indoor/out door eating areas, lovely wee pool, private garden in grass ending at the beach & magnificent Indian Ocean, all with upholstered sun loungers, swing chairs, foot tap to rinse sand off, etc. our huge room & all others have beach views & balconies. Staff all very helpful and well trained. Excellent range of breakfasts from local to international; choice of drinks - Lion beer, cocktails etc. delicious snacks also available. Tuk Tuks arranged for complimentary trip to turtle sanctuary (well worth the visit) & to get us to a range of shops & fabulous local restaurants which were all very good. We will definitely use this place on any return trip & recommend it to any couples.

Potholes & speed bumps? Mainly that we only stayed there 5 nights and not longer!

Everything!!! Location was the most awesome. One among the best beach front located properties I have stayed in across the world. The staff and the team led by Tushara gave exemplary service. And the best part was the food prepared by them for breakfast and other meals was much better than many other restaurants in the area. They kept a special consideration on spice levels for us! Great stuff Pleasure Kosgoda. Keep it up!

Location & clean room we got is nice

Frozen fish as basis while living at the sea shore and broken bedsheets, & worn towels , awful coffee & tea But on top we have been overcharged. room conformation was 20% Genius discount but property didn’t except they charged US38.58 then confirmation room rates & find it difficult to recover the amount from the booking company We are disappointed

The breakfast was delicious. I was able to pre-order the night before so they could ensure the had what I wanted and it was freshly prepared. I also ate dinner at the property which was equally delicious. The staff were very attentive and friendly, and the owner came to check on things daily.

The mattress was a bit hard as were the loungers on the beach. I did notice that the cushions for the beach loungers were the same as for the property next door, which I think belonged to a Sheraton so this may be what's available in the area.

Lovely Hotel, facing the beach. The owner, Pujeet is a wonderful host. Looked after us very well. The Manager Tushar is also very good accommodated all our needs. The hotel is virtually on the beach and not crowded so it almost felt like we had our own private beach. Loved it all.

We stopped off here on our way to the airport and we are very glad we did. It is perfectly located right on a beautiful beach with the waves crashing all around. The team were full of smiles and very helpful - they took our dinner order (my wife is vegan) and then went to the market to buy fresh produce. It is a simple place, but all the better for it.
