"Superb"

Location was great. The room was clean, warm and comfortable. Tea and coffee were replenished on a daily basis. It accepted dogs, not many do in Douglas. The staff were very helpful and the breakfasts were amazing. Would definitely stay here again.

"Freezing cold, noisy, unacceptable"

Freezing cold, despite asking for the heating to be switched on. Woken up at 3am by loud, swearing yobs. Night manager didn't answer for ages then did nothing. Sash windows banging, wind howling. Worst hotel stay I've ever had

Lots of groups of lads staying there and getting drunk being noisy and banging on random peoples doors making me feel unsafe at 3am

Wonderful location overlooking Newquay Harbour. Relaxed unpretentious personal service. The bedrooms they are very clean, well furnished with a sea view. Harbour views and all public rooms and restaurants directly overlook the sea. Free wifi and fluffy duvets.

Difficult to find the hotel - could not find postcode on up to date satnav. However, staff gave me very good directions - and parkibg outside was free.

"Hotel was what we expected and reasonable value for money. No complaints."

The hotel was fine. Very busy with coach tours which made breakfast a very busy time in the hotel but all in all the hotel was as expected. Great location.

Staff were very busy at breakfast time so if you wanted anything specific made fresh you had a small wait but not a real issue.
