"Fabulous"

Lovely stay at The Hydro Hotel! Myself, husband, 7 month old and dog stayed here for 3 nights. Very comfy, clean room. Breakfast was delicious. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Dogs were welcomed at no extra charge but were not aloud at breakfast which is for the best. Great value for money - would definitely stay again!

Hotel was a little dated but very clean and tidy. Rooms were refreshed every day with bed made and clean towels which was very nice.

"Nice hotel"

The hotel is in the waterfront so we had a nice sea view from our room. It is in walking distance to the railway station.

"Hydro Hotel."

The breakfasts were fabulous,clean fresh towels every day,beds were clean and room well maintained..

The room we booked was supposed to be a family room with a bath,we got a small room with a cubicle shower,the bathroom was very small.and no facilities for your shower gell or hang your wet towels.I did ask the management for the room we booked be it was not available.

"Good value in a great location."

The breakfast was good. Good sausages and bacon. The room was clean, the (single) bed was comfortable. The water was hot and plentiful, the staff friendly. Real ale in the lounge, and the lady of the house kept my medicines in the 'fridge as I requested. I couldn't ask for more.

The floor covering in the bathroom looked a bit tired. No serious complaints though.
