Great location , friendly staff

The place was nice, but when I arrived they checked me in, and said it was ready. I went to my room, to find the cleaning lady clueless as to why i was sent over. Aside from that, someone besides the cleaning lady was parked in my space, which was also a little annoying. I went back to the office, and they offered me another room, which was nice.

This place does not do house keeping unless you remind them . This explained the 5 inch cockroach in my room

This is a beautiful spot for the price. I stayed in the Villa and loved the convenience of having a kitchen with the extra space to store my son's wheelchair. Staff are all very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was their typical meals of eggs, gallo pinto (rice & beans), and grilled plantains with toast. They also serve a nice plate of fresh fruits with breakfast. Wifi was good in our room, and the view of the volcano from our window was absolutely stunning. Landscaping is very lush and well maintained and lovely to walk around in. I saw a lot of hummingbirds and other exotic birds on the property every morning. It is located very near the hot springs (less than a mile), Arenal volcano, and Mystic waterfall park are less then 2 miles away. Plenty of restaurants and small open diners (a.k.a. 'sodas') nearby, including coffee shops, markets, liquor stores, & souvenir shops. I would definitely stay here again.

This is an excellent place to stay, close to nature/quite (If you do not mind chirping the birds.

The reception was pleasant, the room caretaker was attentive, the wonderful breakfast was made by very pleasant ladies, very acomodating, they made me feel comfortable.

Bugs in the bed. Smells bad. Can not sleep at all.
