Thiên Tân Hotel

Picture of the grass is the nicest part of this place. Luckily they have good location, direct beach and friendly staff.

The rooms are very old, moldy. There were rats running in the roof every night. Poor maintenance for the whole surroundings. All furniture is just scrappy junk put together. It should be called motel, not hotel.

Fabulous beach in front of the hotel, that's great with coconut trees which give a lot of shades. However, there are a lot of mosquitoes, I understand they are from the garden, but the hotel didn't provide any mosquito net which is very common in south countries. I have stayed in many beach resorts in Vietnam and south east asia from cheap to fancy... and mosquito net is a need, usually provided by the resort. We stayed 3 nights and could not sleep well, mosquito bites are too uncomfortable

The breakfast was the only good thing about my stay. The place was so filthy that I went and bought spray and wipe so I could clean the room myself. It's overpriced for what it is. I cut my stay short and stayed somewhere else that was cleaner and cheaper

The cleanliness needs to be sorted out. It just isn't that difficult to clean a room to a passable standard. It doesn't even need to be exceptional, just passable would be enough

The mattress needs a serious upgrade. way past best before date. Our spine can feel the spring with every tiny movement. I have noticed other reviews mentioned about some bugs at the facility. not sure if it's because of the grass or the weather but some mosquito size green bugs BEWARE won't make you sick but definitely leaves you bug bites with bump and non stop itchiness. Not sure the hotel management can do anything about it.

Great value. Good location and breakfast is yummy. Staff is very attentive.
