"Nice but could use a spring clean"

It looks as if it was a grand house once upon a time...it has nice features: for example a cloak room right after the reception and beautiful big windows, elegant arches, etc. The staff were extremely friendly. And the breakfast was amazing

The room we stayed in could use a proper new carpet, the room looked dated and not very clean. Especially the desk chair...we didn't sit down as there was a big stain in the middle of it and it looked as if it had been found on the side of a road or the refuse center. The room had no A/C and the Victorian window must have been around 30KG to lift (I'm serious). Someone also smoked during the night and the smoke came into our room (there are non-smoking signs).

"Older style Hotel"

Quiet hotel, suitable for my needs of being in the area to visit family. Breakfast was a lovely choice and tasty nice. Drink options and prices are good at their bar. Staff were friendly.

The room I was in needs an update. It felt to cluttered with old furniture and i found the bed was creaky and to uncomfortable for me.

Great location, quiet and just a short walk to the main shopping and restaurant street Easy parking behind the hotel

It’s just a little tired and needs updating, but it’s very reasonably priced so a great value bed and breakfast
