Palace Hotel

I liked the friendly staff and good quality food. The room was clean, comfortable and the location of the hotel was easy to find and quite close to the town centre.

Nothing really. Considering the price point, it met my expectations.

Staff were nice, room was small but had everything I needed, breakfast was good too

Room had so many mosquitos with very little to fend them off, even the mosquito net wasn’t helpful, could barely sleep out night because of too many bites

The breakfast was fair.

They took us to the extreme end of the premises, the neglected part, the tap had no water , the toilet was dirty. The mattress was thin and hard. I woke up with a backache. Basically there was no value for money. Over priced and very underwhelming.

Ambiance and good reception

All in all the place is clean, has a nice garden and the staff is supportive. Our room was really big and the bathroom is good as well. The only problem was when we ate at the restaurant it took a very long time for two sandwiches, of which one was so salty it wasn’t eatable. It was very hard to communicate with the waiter, therefore the order was wrong in the end, e.g. we asked if the iced coffee comes with milk, he said yes and they came with out, as we asked to get some milk on the side than he brought extremely hot milk with our iced coffee and charged us extra.

Great value for the money. Nice stand alone building (as in the pictures), private parking and garden, nice restaurant. Gave us the suite, with balcony overlooking the garden.
