Quinta das Oliveiras Turismo Rural

We had a very enjoyable 4-night stay here. The room was large and spotlessly clean, the pool was a great size with loungers and parasols for everyone. Breakfast was excellent - many different things to eat and plenty of it. The hosts are very friendly and we're particularly helpful when I had an issue with my hire car. We will happily return here the next time we are in the area. Thank you.

Beautiful home and surroundings and the most amazing view of mountains! Home owners was very welcoming and friendly! Breakfast was very amazing and delicious with a lot of choices of freshly prepared juices and omlete done to our taste!

Lack of options, too many rules, acoustic insulation is awful, lack of options in the kitchen.

Everything was fine with the hotel. Nice location and very comfortable.

Unfortunately I was unaware that if one wanted dinner (I did) it was necessary to inform the staff on the day before the arrival. I am not sure that this is specified on Booking.com's information.

Excellent family service and wonderful home cooked food. Booking for dinner essential.

The breakfast was diverse. From local produce - bread, cherries, jams, eggs, cherry cake - to healthy options of fruit and yogurt with granola. A special note about the cherries which were in season and the eggs were from chicken raised in the Quinta. The hosts were catering for the breakfast, including coffee and juices. We didn't need to get up from the table. A bonus was the view from the dining hall. A clear view of the surrounding mountain chain. The host recommend a restaurant in a nearby town which was great. Housekeeping was nicely done and our toiletries pouches were stored inside the drawers in the bathroom. Wished I had more time because the pool is bathed by the sun throughout the day. When the weather is above 30 ºC, that's the place to be. Inside water, surrounded by mountains.

During my experience there was nothing that could be relevant towards improvement opportunities. As mentioned in the description and from the information leaflets in the room, if one desires to dine at the Quinta, one must inform during breakfast. However, there are plenty of excellent restaurants less than 15 minutes away. Basically, no complains from my side.
