THE SLOW vegan hotel

One of the most beautiful hotels we have stayed in. Attentive staff, right by the beach, with amazing food and views from the room. Wish we had stayed longer.

Beautiful smaller hotel with a relaxed atmosphere in a beautiful place with palm trees and right by the beach. Even though we are not vegans, we were surprised by the very tasty and rich cuisine menu together with the breakfast offer (a la carte menu). Such a small oasis in the very busy area of ​​Mirissa and as a bonus right next to the turtle beach. We can only recommend it, even just for sitting in the beach restaurant without accommodation.

There is nothing here that we wouldn't enjoy.

Mein Aufenthalt im The Slow Vegan Hotel Mirissa war wirklich etwas Besonderes. Das Hotel hat eine unglaublich entspannte, ruhige Atmosphäre – perfekt, um abzuschalten und zur Ruhe zu kommen. Die Zimmer sind stilvoll, sauber und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Man merkt sofort, dass hier Wert auf Ästhetik und Wohlfühlfaktor gelegt wird. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das freundliche und herzliche Team. Man fühlt sich nicht wie ein Gast, sondern wirklich willkommen. Jeder Wunsch wird mit einem Lächeln erfüllt. Das vegane Essen ist ein echtes Highlight – frisch, kreativ und einfach unglaublich lecker. Selbst als Nicht-Veganer wird man hier begeistert. Die Lage ist ebenfalls ideal: ruhig, aber dennoch nah am Strand und an Restaurants. Ein wunderschöner Ort zum Entspannen. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen.

We stayed in a ground-floor deluxe room, and the ocean was just about 10 meters from our door. It was perfect for a relaxing beachfront vacation.

None, i had to cancel my booking because of the rudeness

The property owner and specially the staff are really rude. I had made 2 bookings initially 20 days in advance because wasnt sure which window of dates i will be staying. Given the flexibility with booking, you may cancel if your plans change in prior with little courtesy from property owner. I reached to the property desk (where i spoke to the staff) that i wish to cancel 1 of the booking and continue with the other (about 12 days in advance). At first, Without even listening my entire story, the staff rudely said we wont cancel any booking, your loss. When i insisted to connect with owner, he simply refused to make me connect with him and said I will try to speak to owner and inform if possible. Later during day he informed the property owner also refused. After this rude behaviour, i simply understood what kind of hospitality is expected from them if they do not show little bit of human touch to your problem. Instead they are after your money and nothing else. I urge anyone to make booking with them with real caution because the owner doesnt stay there and the staff is really rude. All they care is about your money and nothing else

Our stay at The Slow in Mirissa was absolutely wonderful. The hotel is beautifully located — right by the ocean, with breathtaking views and a truly peaceful, tropical atmosphere. It feels like a little paradise. The design, the setting, and the overall vibe create a very special place where you instantly feel relaxed. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful. He went above and beyond for us — organizing an extra night at short notice and helping us arrange a late-night transfer to the airport. His kindness and flexibility made a big difference to our stay. The entire team was fantastic — warm, welcoming, and genuinely caring. We felt very well looked after from the moment we arrived. The food in the restaurant was absolutely delicious. Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. It was a pleasure to spend time there — everything felt easy, friendly, and relaxed. We truly enjoyed our time at The Slow and would gladly come back again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a beautiful, stylish, and welcoming place to stay in Mirissa.

Tolles Hotel direkt in Mirissa, aber doch nicht zu überfüllt. Das Hotel liegt direkt am Strand und man kann schwimmen und surfen. Surfbretter werden vom Hotel kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt, was ein cooler Pluspunkt war. Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und unterstützt auch bei der Planung / Organisation von Ausflügen, etc. Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet und haben eine tolle Aussicht auf das Meer. Auch das Frühstück war sehr lecker mit vielseitigen veganen Optionen.
