Room rather cramped. No shower mat to step out on. No hand towel. Sink plug wouldn't keep the water in the sink.

The room was a single- there was no chair or desk - I therefore had to sit all night on the bed. The building contravenes fire regulations. The fire exits were blocked, one door was deadlocked. There were obstructions on the fire exit route and a fire door was propped open. The external fire escape staircase is unlit and is directly above the windows to the kitchen (high fire risk area) with no fire rated glass in them. Food was in many cases pre-cooked and re-heated resulting on vegetables being overcooked, and other items being had and inedible.

Lovely stay, perfect for what we needed. Food was great and the staff friendly and welcoming. The room was comfortable and quiet.

Stopped here for one night while visiting family,Friendly pub and friendly staff including Matthew the manager who was most helpful.Stayed in a double bed suite which was very warm and comfy.had a couple of drinks in bar.Also had a lovely bar meal.Paid the extra for breakfast which was a full English,which consisted of quality sausage and thick bacon.Breakfast could easily be improved by adding choice of cereals and fruit juice and/or unlimited hot drinks.Will stay again.

Single rooms are a bit small,pay the extra £15 and book a double room or suite

Wouldn't clean the dog with the bath robes. Mould everywhere , door into bathroom made an amazing noise waking other people up. Do yourselves a favour and give it a miss.

Traditional Full English or variations of, freshly cooked and tasty.

The towels in the room looked ready for replacing.
