The Stump Cross inn

Location great, bus stop directly across the road. The pub provided lovely meals the carvery was great. All staff lovely and polite very helpful. The room names were cute and represented the area well. Bedding itself was clean.

The bathroom really smelt of strong damp. Floors very dirty and handles ect. Lifted a cup provided to take medication and it stuck to the tray…….so didn’t use tea and coffee facilities. Shower and sink dirty and lots of dust covering furnishings and mirrors.

Great staff. Meals were excellent, good choices and large portions. Room was adequate and shower room very good. The pub is situated in a good position to visit different places of interest and The Piece Hall in Halifax is unique and well worth a visit.

Everything. Lovely place, lovely staff, lovely food and lovely room. Would stay again.
