"Super stay to watch the streets"

The stump cross inn was a fab little stopover while we went to piece hall. We ate dinner and breakfast there as well and it is a lovely little place with attentive friendly staff great food and clean comfy rooms

Its a little bit out of the centre Some other guests coming in woke us up as some rooms have a shared bathroom and they were using that. We didnt care too much as we were 3 adults but if you had kids you might be fed up

"A good stay overall.."

Good location for going to the piece hall. Really nice bar. Good room comfy bed. Friendly staff.

Quite a lot of road noise all through the night as road was very busy and our room was at the front of the building. Would go back again but request a room at the rear of the building.

The staff were amazing. We felt so welcome 😁

Our rooms were tired but clean. The traffic noise at the front where we were was loud. Nothing the pub could have done so we now know to request a quieter room at the back.
