The property itself is beautiful, with incredible views that really make the experience special. The staff were welcoming and attentive throughout our stay, and the massage service was excellent — one of the highlights of the trip. The breakfast was enjoyable with a good selection.

Unfortunately, the restaurant itself was disappointing otherwise. The food served at lunch did not seem fresh, and I ended up with food poisoning after eating there. That said, the property has a lot of charm, and with some improvements to the restaurant and food quality, it could easily become an even better stay experience.

The terrace outside the restaurant is the best part of the hotel. It has a large tree, nice flowers and good valley view. The general ambience and furnishings are good. The food was OK, though we would have preferred more gluten free options as my wife has a gluten allergy. The hotel has only 16 rooms and so does not feel crowded. We made friends with other guests in the restaurant and while relaxing at the terrace.

Television was very small and was not well fitted - they should provide a bigger TV. The mattress was not to our liking. We prefer a flat mattress, whereas on this one we felt that it was sloping towards the side of the bed. The hotel did not have a pool or gym, which was not our need. However, the pricing was a bit high considering that it did not have these facilities.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with housekeeping doing a great job throughout the stay. The food had some highlights—especially the sandwiches and mixed pakoras, which are definitely a must-try. The tea was also quite good and comforting. Overall, the room experience and a few menu items stood out positively.

The open areas, including the terrace and dining space, looked much larger in pictures than they actually are, which was a bit disappointing. The F&B staff lacked clarity on basic dietary details, such as whether dishes were eggless or not. The breakfast spread was very limited for a five-star property, offering mainly fruits, bakery items, and beverages, with most items needing to be ordered live. This did not meet expectations. The coffee at breakfast was also below standard. Food pricing felt quite high compared to both the quality and portion sizes. There were also a few service inconsistencies—for example, a cheese melt mushroom dish arrived without cheese, though it was later refunded by the front desk. A dessert ordered with ice cream on the side was delivered incorrectly, and although the team offered to fix it, it was late at night and we preferred not to have further disturbances.
