Beautiful building and lovely restaurant staff.

Our booking confirmation stated room service available. On arrival, we were told we could not have room service in the room allocated to us. We were given inaccurate restaurant information and were told a table for dinner would be booked for us. It was not! Almost no luggage assistance was given on arrival; cases were not taken to our room. No help with luggage was offered on departure. The bathroom was lovely, the bedroom was mediocrely furnished and I awoke to insect bites covering my legs. The chef and restaurant staff are very helpful and food is delicious but everything else falls far below 4* standard and it was more expensive than the 5* hotels we stayed in during our holiday.

Loved the atmosphere

No usb sockets in the room. Can't believe in 21st century you haven't updated sockets in rooms! No fridge in room. Atrium in Library showed mould on upvc. This tells me you don't maintain this regularly!

Property was lovely. Beds uncomfortable, food tasted very salty we ordered 2 liqueur coffees and they were very expensive and didn’t taste nice- both tasted the same despite being meant to have different alcohol on
