Villa Juliana

Great position near the beach and wonderful breakfast.

The best place I’ve stayed in Zanzibar. Cozy, quiet and beautiful. The staff is great and they make you feel at home. Breakfast is delicious. The room is comfortable and clean. Amazing to walk on the beach.

Villa Juliana is a little gem and was perfect for us after a 10 day safari in Tanzania. The location is amazing, right on a beautiful beach, the room was spacious and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We could not have asked for more. They went out of their way to make our stay a happy one and always had a big smile. Another lovely aspect was that the manager let us have the room until late at no additional cost, as we had a night flight. This was hugely appreciated and made our 42 hour travel back to NZ so much easier. Our only upset with Villa Juliana was that we had to leave! We would have liked to stay longer :-)

There wasn't anything which we didn't like.

Location was perfect, close enough to get places but felt much more quieter and relaxed. Rooms cleaned regularly and they come and spray the room to each night to make sure there are no mosquitos. Friendly staff :)

Was only a small mirror in the room would’ve been nice to have a bigger one.

The staff is really nice and helpful! The view on the beach is gorgeous and the pool is perfect for when it’s high tides

best place to stay in Jambiani if you're looking for tranquility and comfort. the staff was so charming and helpful! very delicious food - one of the best place on Zanzibar to taste calamari - and drinks, especially Zanzibar tea.

Excellent breakfast with a view. Lovely and helpful staff and owner. The room and the hotel area was very clean. It did not matter that there was no A/C, the fan worked well, even when the humidity was high after raining. The pool was very nice during low tides when the sea literally ”disappered”.

Super friendly staff and the most beautiful view to the sea. The villa integrates tanzanian architecture beautifully in the building. It's simple without air conditioner but with love. Also the food was amazing and whenever I had a question I got help right away. The place is quite and relaxing. Would love to come again

I'm a small person already but I felt that the bed was big but a bit too short.
