Sunshine Resort Pokhara - Your Private Paradise

We love everything about Sunshine Resort. Due to the low season, we were the only guests there for a 2 night stay. We were pampered by the staff. Our needs were all well taken care of and we didn't leave the Resort at all. The breakfast was generous and the food was delicious! We swam and relaxed in the pool facing the Himalayan mountains! The spectacular views were breathtaking, especially when the clouds cleared up and could see the peak of Fishtail and the glaciers on Annapurna mountains. There is a small trail that leads to a river and hanging bridge. A very therapeutic walk. We definitely would love to come back again. I highly recommend this resort for the views and relaxation. Thank you Mr Kiran and his team for making our stay a memorable one.

The chef of this hotel is amazing, we eat vegan and got a different expansive breakfast every morning. Things like vegan coconutporridge, vegan scrambled eggs and vegan omelet, fried tofu and buckwheat pancakes with local honey and seasonal local organic fruits. Dinner was the same, we looooved the Nepalese potato soup, you should try it, pure comfort in a bowl! The hotel staff was super super friendly, always smiling, paying attention to our needs and quick in response. Everything is clean and comfortable. Nice that they have a swimmingpool to cool off + spa services like massages.

We knew when we booked that the location would be further away from Pokhara, we booked it on purpose to find more peace and quiet. On the other side of the canyon there is a funpark that played loud music early in the morning, i'd rather just hear the tjirping of the birds, but this is not something the hotel can do anything about. The free shuttle service to Lakeside is good, yes the road is bad,very bumpy, but its just a mindset to give into movement of the car and relax. We did not mind the 30 min. drive. Unfortunately the air pollution was very bad, so the view of the mountains was not there, only one evening after a day of heavy wind. We think the view is best if you visit after raining season, so in October or November. Again not something the hotel can influence, but good to know if you consider visiting Pokhara.

Very nice hotel far from the city and very quite place.

One of the highlights of staying at Sunshine Resort is the magnificent mountain view that greets you each morning. The resort offers world-class food, with a variety of delectable dishes that are as beautiful as they are delicious. Whether you're enjoying a hearty breakfast or a gourmet dinner, every meal is a delight. The staff here goes above and beyond to ensure that your dining experience is nothing short of perfect.

Review for Sunshine Resort, Pokhara Had an amazing stay at Sunshine Resort, Pokhara! They provided a spacious room with an incredible mountain view. The room and bathroom were spotless, and breakfast was prepared as per my choice. Plus, the airport pickup and drop-off made my trip effortless. This property is perfect for nature lovers, offering a peaceful retreat. To fully enjoy the experience, I recommend staying for at least two nights. Highly recommend this place!

A little away from the city but that ain't a bad thing.

We chose Sunshine Resort Pokhara to celebrate our anniversary, drawn by the promise of stunning views of the Annapurna range. While the view wasn’t as dramatic as depicted in the pictures, our stay was truly splendid. The hotel staff kindly upgraded us to a loft suite, which was well-equipped with every facility one would expect from a loft. We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful view from our room, making the experience even more special. The food was another highlight of our stay—the menu was varied, and the dishes were incredibly flavorful. Despite having to leave early for our next destination, the staff thoughtfully packed us a generous breakfast to take along. Above all, the staff truly made our stay memorable. One particular staff member, whose name I unfortunately forgot, stood out for his humor, helpful nature, and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Overall, Sunshine Resort Pokhara provided a wonderful experience, and we look forward to returning someday.

While Sunshine Resort Pokhara was a wonderful place to stay, one aspect that slightly detracted from the experience was the view. This property, I'm sure, once enjoyed an uninterrupted view and tranquility of the Annapurna range, but with new developments emerging between the resort and the mountains, the view is no longer as pristine and breathtaking as it once was.

The staff was amazing! They even made a bonfire for us. The food was wonderful. The view was incredible. The location was a bit far from town, but they had a free shuttle.
