Sunshine Resort Pokhara - Your Private Paradise

Big comfortable rooms with reasonably big bathrooms. Clean pool. Exceptional service staff (All of them). Wonderful view of the Fish Tail mountain, the Annapurna range from the room balcony. The service staff was ever courteous, smiling and eager to help.

Menu choices are pretty limited and it being far from the markets, you are confined to the limited choices available. The property itself is a bit small with a clean pool and a small badminton court but I could easily jog on the road outside (almost no traffic) so that was still manageable. Kids would have loved some indoor game options like pool, table tennis etc.

What a wonderful Resort ! Great spacious, airy & cheerful rooms. Beautiful pool by the garden with lovely view. Calm & peaceful with only the birds sounding. Food fresh & tasty with menu reasonably priced . Very helpful, cheerful & friendly staff. Felt like home & did not want to leave. My second home in Pokhara.

Very good location, a little away from the town. Roshan was outstanding, he made our stay truly enjoyable.

The hotel is in a very quiet location away from the main part of the city. The views of the mountains are spectacular. Staff is very friendly. There is a good shuttle service into town or to the airport.

Taxis will not know where this hotel is as there is still no defined mapped road. Its about a 30-40 minute very bumpy ride from central Pohkara. Absolutely no atmosphere at the hotel. We felt like we were walking the corridors of a hospital. Sure there will be distant mountain views 20% of the year, but mostly theres too haze and air pollution. Very basic pool area with no lounges or umbrellas. Food on offer was very, very average and there is no where else to eat nearby. Staff were hospitable. Room was oversized in the downstairs lounge area which had one very uncomfortable lounge. No other furniture. Their website needs updating as there is no 'Greek restaurant or Taverna" not that one would expect to find that in Nepal - we didn't see that when booking so we weren't expecting it.
