Sunshine Resort Pokhara - Your Private Paradise

Wonderful staff, very friendly and professional. It is an excellent location, a bit out of the city, with a magnificent view of the mountains on a clear day. The hotel offers daily drop-offs and pick-ups to the city (lakeside). I am a attaching a photo I took from my bed in the morning.

I like the view from their location.

The hotel is located on the outskirts so if you want to enjoy peace and mountain views then only go for the hotel. The road direction to the hotel location needs to be checked especially.

Our stay at this hotel in Pokhara was nothing short of exceptional! Perched on a serene hilltop surrounded by nature, the hotel offered stunning views of the Annapurna mountain range and the valley below, creating a truly unforgettable backdrop for breakfast each morning. The staff’s warmth, professionalism, and attentiveness made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. The food was a highlight of our experience—every meal was a delight, and we found ourselves eagerly anticipating breakfast and dinner each day. Favorites included the banana lassi (a must-have at every meal), the fresh salads, creamy mushroom soup, Nepali thali, butter paneer, and the indulgent gulab jamun. The rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable, providing a peaceful retreat after exploring the area. This hotel is a true gem for anyone visiting Pokhara, and we cannot recommend it highly enough!

The best place in Pokhara if you seek for tranquility and feels like home feeling. This was a fantastic stay, the hotel team is absolutely amazing! Highly recommend

Very beautiful quiet place, we absolutely loved staying here. Completely in nature with a beautiful river below the hotel and a jungle behind it. It was one of our favorite places that we have stayed at. They do provide a free shuttle to lakeside and the restaurant is good.

The drive to lakeside was so rocky and long, it made both of us quite motion sick. It is approximately 30-40 mins to lakeside.

I liked the serene and quiet surroundings. It’s far away from the city or Lake side. My room was very spacious and a bed was comfortable. The bathroom is also very big. Although the room does require a bit of renovation. The staff were great and helpful. Thanks to Roshan, I had all the food I needed even if it was not mentioned in the menu.

Two things disappointed me: they don’t provide good coffee for breakfast (only Nescafé) which is not suitable for 5* resort (I even had good coffee in 2* hotels) and you have to ask for the hot water so it’s not always available to you. Also the food menu is limited and mostly unhealthy as for me, and double priced. The pool is not heated.

All the staff were incredible : Roshan, Pervin and Niroj. The place is really quite and with beautiful views to the mountain. The food was amazing . My Room was really spacious and the toilet as well but need a renovation
