A delightful small guest house run by an amiable, extremely helpful manager and staff. Ten minutes max walking to the Temple. In the heart of the action but on a relatively quiet street lined with food stalls. Unfortunately, I got very ill during our stay, and even though the inn was booked solid on our original check-out day, he secured a room for us at a sister property. Makes a great Indian breakfast, too. A small garden in the rear is a nice refuge. They also have a great car and driver to visit the border ceremony or do an airport run--at a great price as well.

The City View Garden is in an exceptional location to the main attraction in being the Golden Temple. Rooms are spacious and include a western style ensuite. The management at the City View Gardens are amazing and ensure you have a memorable experience. In particular, the team provide you with a map of the area and explicitly show you the main attractions and sites not to be missed. As we were leaving in an early morning train - the team arrange transportation - hassle free of running around at 4am in the morning. Dining options are available at the hotel and the team provide advice and location of the best local restaurants. Highly recommended and a great price!

The hotel is in a perfect location close to the Golden Temple Jallianwala Bagh and Partition Museum. Avijit the owner was extremely friendly and helpful giving us lots of useful information and sorting out taxis to the Wagah Border Closing Ceremony and to the airport on our final morning. He also cooked us a delicious meal on our final evening. I would highly recommend this hotel.

It's very close to Golden temple and staff was very helpful. The weather was cold and they provided me heater. They also brought cooked tea after my arrival. The next day breakfast was really good brought into the room.

A quiete and safe place to relax after exploring the Golden temple. Very comfortable and clean.
