City View With Garden -5 Mins Walk From GOLDEN TEMPLE

The room was clean, although the wooden elements were already showing signs of damage. The small interior patio became a cozy place to eat a meal or drink masala chai. Very nice service. The manager was extremely friendly, he responded to all our requests and even took some initiative. It is true that the trip to the Indian-Pakistani border cost us more than if we had paid by hiring a taxi elsewhere, but thanks to the manager's proposal, we shared the costs with a person from another room. In addition, we felt taken care of during this trip (and you can get lost in the crowd there) and well directed to the VIP zone, based on our foreign passports. In the morning on the day of departure, although we left the hotel well before the breakfast hour, we were treated to coffee and baked toast by an employee. In addition, it was free from the hotel. The employee called a rickshaw for us, which also cost us less than if we had taken one from the street.

the doors and other wooden elements in the bathroom need replacing. Personally, I would prefer the brick wall on the patio not to be covered with artificial grass. The potted plants and the beautiful, spreading and very tall palm tree would look better against the red brick

Quiet street, easy and short walk to Golden Temple and other areas - shopping, food, etc

Lack of windows made it feel stuffy, ventilation was not good or non existent. They had A/C but we needed to keep the door open to refresh the air.

Good room. Very good services.

Manager was helpful and friendly. Location was poor. Parking of cab/ taxi was difficult due to lack of space. There was no garden to talk of, although it is misstated as garden view.

Very clean and ideally situated close to the Golden Temple in a quiet area . Large room and bathroom . WiFi was very strong . Avigit ( Hope I spelled it right) the owner, is the best with his hospitality and assistance providing information for sightseeing , places to eat and transportation . He also provided me free transport to my next hotel as the rooms were fully booked on my 2nd day in Amritsar. I had to split my stay here with another hotel . After checking out , the following day I came back to ask Avigit for assistance and he welcomed me with masala tea and invited me to stay in the serene and shaded garden area. If you are planning to stay in Amritsar I wouldn’t hesitate too long to book a room here .

Great location - 5 minutes walk from the Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh. The manager, Mr Avijeet, and hotel staff were so kind and caring - I was a solo female traveller and felt very safe. Great complimentary breakfast and Mr Avijeet helped arrange my dinner from a local restuarant on the first night when I arrived late. Unlimited complimentary bottled water and tea. Would highly recommend the driver, Mr Satnaam - used for airport pickup and taxi to the Wagah border - he was a great driver, very safe, good prices - he even guided me through the right queue, security etc. at the border.

Shower was a bit chilly, but not an issue for me in the hot weather. Room off reception a bit noisy at night, but ok with earplugs.
