City View With Garden -5 Mins Walk From GOLDEN TEMPLE

Location is very close to tourist places like golden temple, Jallianwala bagh , Partition Museum, Heritage street

Narrow lane , difficult to find parking out side hotel

the internet was slow in the room

Amazing place to stay, very close to attractions like Jallianwala Bagh 5 minute walk away and golden temple 10 minutes slow walk. Rooms were very nice and had what you wanted, nice ensuite and the owner treated us to complimentary breakfast which was lovely. The kulcha was very tasty. This is a must stay if staying in Amritsar.

Location is great, short walk to Golden Temple (more like 10-15 minutes...) . Very nice and helpful manager who helped with currency exchange (at a good rate) and good laundry service. He also organized a great one day tour to Wagah border and other sites at a fair price.

No working window in room, only frosted glass between the room and the back of the reception area - so the room felt pretty damp and musty, but not a deal breaker. Hotel was hard to find, 2 Tuk Tuk drivers ended up going in circles. Like most Indian hotels, I had to ask for toilet paper twice...

Could not have been made more welcome. As a solo female traveller in her 60s, I felt very safe. A hand drawn map given and explained on arrival meant I didn't need to walk around waving my phone in the air. The location is , truly, five minutes walk from the Temple... yet so quiet. Really comfortable bed and plenty of bottled water provided. Good breakfasts too and an electric heater was a thoughtful touch during cool evenings.

The shower seemed to run chilly after only about three minutes but this wasn't a problem; good eco sense to be honest!
