The Victoria Hotel

The bed was very comfortable. There was ample drawer storage. The room was clean and nicely decorated. Excellent breakfast choice and the evening meal we had wasn’t too bad albeit quite a lot of items were off. Also strangely our TV had a missing channel, we wouldn’t normally notice but the World Cup was on and, as the bar area was small and we’d had long days we wanted to watch in the room. The lady on reception got it sorted whilst we had breakfast.

The sink unit was too small to house toiletries. The bedside tables also seemed too small but that maybe because the lamp base was too big. The bar area was nice but again too small to relax if you weren’t dining.

Location was perfect and the room was a nice size

Dusty lamps shades and the room and a minor tea spillage wasn't cleaned up. The food in the restaurant wasn't great for the price and the cooked breakfasts were below par serving under cooked potatoes and poached eggs we just had cereal on our last morning.
