"Return visit"

The staff are excellent. Plentifully, efficient and friendly.Both the public areas and bedrooms are spacious, well furnished and comfortable.Great location in the village centre. The nearby private parking is terrific in this beautiful but very busy village. Atmosphere in the bar is welcoming and relaxed.

Biggest disappointment was in the restaurant.. Even the exceptionally hard working , friendly team couldn't disguise the disorganisation in the kitchen. Quality of breakfast and dinner experience way down on previous stays. The cooked breakfast options looked good on the menu but long waits and poor, tasteless food was a huge disappointment. Similarly in the evening simple dishes like fish and chips were very good but more challenging dishes such as sea bass were swamped by oil as was the easy burger .

A great renovated bar,reception and dining area. Cool,modern feel.Lovely seating indoors and outdoors. We ate from the small bites menu(available until 5pm).It was a quite a large portion size and delicious. A large variety of choices for breakfast too. Our room was quiet,tastefully decorated and we had a good night's sleep.
