"Should have been a better experience!"

Excellent location. Overall experience - very disappointing Upgraded room - not value for money. The stay could have been so much better. Castle view room was £250 a night b and b so would have expected at least some of these options but - No lift to 4th floor or initial offer of help with cases on arrival. No safe in room. No fridge in room. No portable fan in room despite very hot weather. No toiletries replaced during stay. No bed made on first morning as pyjamas left there. Poor standard of daily room servicing. Extra charge for cappuccino at breakfast.

Only two cask beers offered at bar (but these were okay) Limited range of coffee at breakfast. Quite expensive hotel

Everything, beautiful rooms. big bathroom, no refrigeration but still very comfortable with fan provided. Excellent food.

"University reunion"

Nice hotel. Really well located. Breakfasts were excellent. Staff very welcoming. We stayed room 34. Worth paying extra for. There were over 30 of us in our party. Definitely recommend .

Location is the main thing for this hotel. Over priced for the standard of the room.

Room was small for £170! We were by the extractor fan so couldn't have the windows open on an extremely hot evening. Not value for money.
